Great Moments in Donut History






In 1946 William Rosenberg started Industrial Luncheon Services, a company which provided meals and snack items to coffee breakers in the Boston area. Two years later Mr. Rosenberg started his first coffee and donut shop in Quincy, Massachusetts. It was called the "Open Kettle." In 1950 he renamed his shop -- and the first Dunkin' Donuts had arrived.
